八不

The eight negations of Nagarjuna, founder of the Mādhyamika or Middle School [lang id =1028]三論宗. The four pairs are "neither birth nor death, neither end nor permanence, neither identity nor difference, neither coming nor going." These are the eight negations; add "neither cause nor effect"and there are the [lang id =1028]十不 ten negations; v. [lang id =1028]八迷.
